WE ARE THERE FOR YOU AND YOUR PUPPY 24/7 Our Kennel has been............. breeding/exhibiting Miniature Smooth Dachshunds 1986 - 2006, Australian Shepherds 2000 -2009 and Italian Greyhounds were acquired in 2007. Presently we are involved only with Italian Greyhounds. We are a small kennel devoted to producing quality, happy and healthy puppies that are available occasionally to approved, responsible and caring homes for show or as an ideal companion. (puppies sold as companion/pet) stock are always sold on a Non-Breeding contract and are to be spayed/neutered at the appropriate time. no exceptions) We usually only have one or two litters a year, so early inquiries are suggested. Our goal is to provide you with a happy healthy companion so that is why our dogs have access to lots of love, fresh air, grass and sunshine. Our dogs are raised in our home and are a BIG part of our family. They are born in the kitchen and raised in the family room. Puppies are well socialized and therefore leave our home as happy, outgoing puppies. All our puppies are veterinarian checked: Eyes, heart, patella's, hips, elbows etc. and have a written health contract/guarantee accompanying them when purchased. Italian Greyhound Puppies are placed at approximately 10 to 12 weeks of age. They are tattooed, immunized (appropriate for their age), and will be registered with the Canadian Kennel Club at our expense. Puppies are also well on their way to being crate and house trained before they leave. About Arlene (AKA blowing my own horn)....... I have been involved in the companion animal field since 1979. First as a professional groomer who apprenticed with some of the top local groomers at the time. I then went on to own a very successful grooming salon for several years. In 1986 I started breeding/exhibiting Miniature Smooth Dachshunds. In that time I have had some of the top dogs in Canada. In early 2000 I went back to college and became a Certified Veterinary Assistant. I graduated with top honors and immediately started working in one of the largest animal hospitals in British Columbia. I can proudly say that the hospital is absolutely dedicated to compassionate care. We are also a repro clinic/international canine semen bank (ICSB) with a large breeder clientele. Presently I am the Practice Manager at the clinic. Who knows what lies in my future. Two things are for sure though................. My husband/soul mate and very best friend Dave will ALWAYS be the love of my life. He has supported me unconditionally through the good times and in the bad. Also in one form or another there will ALWAYS be dogs in my life. There is absolutely nothing like looking into the tiny trusting face of a newborn puppy.
